Woking FC has made a significant signing by acquiring defender Zico Asare on a two-year deal after his release from Harrogate Town. The 25-year-old right-back was among eight players released by Harrogate following their relegation from League Two. Asare's previous experience in the National League with Maidenhead United caught the attention of Woking, who are looking to improve upon their 10th-place finish last season. Asare developed his skills in the academy of Premier League club Fulham before moving to Harrogate Town, where he made 54 appearances over two seasons. Despite facing challenges with injuries and competition for his position, he managed to showcase his talent, including a memorable long-range goal. Woking FC hopes that Asare's experience and skills will bolster their defense as they prepare for the upcoming season in the National League.
