Woking aim to return to winning ways when they travel to face Eastleigh in the National League this Saturday. The fixture at Silverlake Stadium kicks off at 3pm on 3 October, with coach travel available for supporters.
Cameron Donaldson said, "After an entertaining loss last time out ending Woking’s unbeaten run, the Cards travel to Eastleigh, looking to return to winning ways." Coaches will depart from Laithwaite Community Stadium at 12:30pm, with fans asked to arrive by 12:20pm. Tickets for the coach can be booked via the club's official travel partner, and any travel queries should go to the supporter liaison officer.
Advance match tickets are priced from £5.50 for Under 7s to £20.50 for Adults. Purchasing on the day incurs an extra fee.
Recent form and head-to-head
Woking's four-match unbeaten streak was halted by a 4-2 home defeat to Solihull Moors last time out. That result leaves the Cards 18th in the standings with 12 points from 11 games. Their form over the last five, however, shows two wins, two draws and that single loss. The team will hope key players from the squad can step up to improve their recent stats.
Eastleigh, managed by Matt Gray, sit 14th and have lost three of their last six matches. The head-to-head record between the sides is remarkably even. In recent meetings, Eastleigh have won seven, Woking have won six, and 11 have been draws. Both fixtures last season ended level, including a dramatic 3-3 draw at Laithwaite where Woking scored two late goals to salvage a point.
Opposition and closing details
Eastleigh have strengthened their squad with the signings of Hady Ghandour from Aldershot and Harry Sidwell on loan. Sidwell, the son of former professional Steve Sidwell, spent last season on loan at Dorking Wanderers. Woking will be looking ahead to their upcoming fixtures and will hope to avoid adding to any potential injuries list from this encounter.
Donaldson added, "Your support for the trip to Eastleigh would be hugely appreciated!" The match will be played at Eastleigh's Silverlake Stadium on Saturday 3 October, with a 3pm kick-off.
